RUG Meeting 01
Cool Things... parts 1 and 2 covers rendering occlusion and displacement maps respectively. The Demo Project is a Maya Project
folder that contains the necessary maya and image files to complete the demos. The Orange and LGHextile shaders are in both SL and
SLO formats. They have been compiled using Shader 14.3 with -back option. These shader files have also been been included
in a shader directory in the demo project as well.
RUG Meeting 02
This meeting featured Displacement Maps almost exclusively. The Displacement Checklist goes through some common problems if your images are not looking correct.
I also demostrated my entry into the Stupid RenderMan Trick for 2009.

I showed a trick to convert paint FX Hair into Curves that can be rendered as Fur. I 've included the mel script and a standard Hair Shader, (sl and slo).
